Postcard
and general folding specifications
Note the following
graphic for a sample postcard. It can also be applied to general self-mailers.
With folded pieces, it is recommended that the fold be on the bottom
edge with a single tab on the top.
- On folded brochures,
take note of setting up your panels for proper folding:
- wrap-around
artwork should pass the fold 1/16".
- all fold
types except tri-fold (letter-folds) will have equal size panels.
- tri-folds
should have the outer and center panels 1/16" wider than
1/3rd the width of the brochure, and the inside panel should
be 1/8" smaller.
- self-mailers
(bi-folds and letter-folds) should have the fold below the address.
