Postcard and general folding specifications

    Note the following graphic for a sample postcard. It can also be applied to general self-mailers. With folded pieces, it is recommended that the fold be on the bottom edge with a single tab on the top.

    1. On folded brochures, take note of setting up your panels for proper folding:
      1. wrap-around artwork should pass the fold 1/16".
      2. all fold types except tri-fold (letter-folds) will have equal size panels.
      3. tri-folds should have the outer and center panels 1/16" wider than 1/3rd the width of the brochure, and the inside panel should be 1/8" smaller.
      4. self-mailers (bi-folds and letter-folds) should have the fold below the address.
