The files we receive must be ready to print without any additional work, without the necessity of fonts, or linked files to print properly. The rule of thumb is to send one file per side of cards or one file per page of a brochure. We accept only these 3 file formats: PDF* (view distiller settings) * EPS * TIFF You can generate one of these formats from practically any program. *PDF files not generated using our settings out of Adobe Distiller are not guaranteed. ie. PDF files exported out of programs like QuarkXpress. General graphic requirements:

CMYK or Grayscale separation (SWOP) - we suggest "U.S. Prepress Defaults" in Adobe application color settings. Trim marks or exact page size to include any bleeds with bounding boxes (no floating artwork). 1/8" bleeds if required 1/8" margins for text to trim 350 dpi CMYK or Grayscale images, and 1200 dpi 1-bit lineart Transparencies must be flattened Photoshop TIFF files need to be flattened Support black percentages of C 40%, M 40%, Y 20%, K 100% Files must not require additional font files to process properly. All text from Illustrator, InDesign, Freehand and CorelDraw must be converted to outlines, curves, or paths. Photoshop EPS files should include vector data. Black text smaller than 24 pt should be straight black. Fonts in all PDF files must be either embedded (without subsetting) or preferably converted to outlines.
